Jimmy has done lots of jobs for us for about 10 years now. He is always reliable and if necessary will come up with ideas about how the job can best be done. Mr Demetriou has undertaken a variety of work for us over the years; we have never been disappointed with the standard of his workmanship, his courtesy, his professionalism and good humour. On this occasion, he replaced the whole fence, adding gravel boards and needing to create a smaller panel to fill a small gap. We recommend Mr Demetriou without reservation.

This is, I think, the 3rd time I've use Jimmy. My continued use is based on the exceptional service and standard of work. He has fitted a bannister for me, hung around 20 vintage mirrors and pictures. He is always helpful, professional and tidy. I have another booking in January 2020 because I've not found anyone in the past that were up to his standard of work. . If definitely recommend him to anyone looking for similar work to be done.
We have used Jimmy to do all sorts of odd jobs over the years, including fitting an exterior CCTV camera, repairing a brass bed headboard, fitting a new bathroom extractor fan and repairing a garden gate, to name but a few. He is very conscientous and does a great job. What's particularly impressive is he always thinks through what's needed in advance and anticipates any tricky choices that need to be made before he starts work. He bends over backwards to make sure you fully understand the consequences of what you've asked him to do. I'm not totally hopeless at DIY, but there are times when you just want to get someone competent in to do a nice job. On those occasions, Jimmy's your man!
Second time I have used Jimmy - replacing two fence panels and installing three concrete posts. As usual, he does exactly what he says he will do and more. Very happy with the work and also left the site tidier than it was when he arrived! I would agree on one of the other comments - well worth booking Jim in 6-8 weeks in advance and waiting for the work as I don't doubt it will be a better job than any alternative.
